Fantastic
THIS IS SUCH A GREAT DRESS. I'm usually between a 1 and 2 and often go with a 2 for bodycon styles but this has lots of room for me in a 1, it's very stretchy. The fabric is definitely closer to a sweater dress, it has a thickness, it's better suited for cool weather and aircon. The metallic accents are so pretty and the cut+fabric are so flattering. GET IT.

Perfect for New Year’s!
This dress is absolutely gorgeous in person — the color, the shimmer, the softness of the fabric… Torrid never misses with their materials, and this one feels amazing on the skin. Just know: this is definitely a bodycon fit, so size up if you want a smoother silhouette. I’m so glad I ordered the 2, because it hugs in all the right places and still gives that super flattering curve moment on my babydoll body.
Overall, it’s stunning, comfortable, and makes you feel like you’re walking into the party already winning.

It Sparkles!!
I needed a holiday dress and saw this cute black dress and thought it would be perfect and I could dress it up. The photos on the website do not show just how much color is truly in this dress lol. It is not a solid color dress. There is pink/purple, blue/teal and yellow/gold shimmer throughout the ENTIRE dress. I think it's absolutely beautiful but if you're expecting a solida color dark dress, you may be disappointed. The STRETCH is OUTRAGEOUS lol. Im normally a 4/5 in Torrid dresses (Im 5'4 and 400 pounds). I ordered the size 4 after looking at the material on the site. The arm stretch is amazing and the stretch throughout is amazing. It's so much stretch that I reordered a size 3. I would have ordered a size 2 but it's sold out. If you are not insecure about your body, please consider sizing down. If you have body image concerns, get your regular size but it will be big which may not make you feel your best. Overall, the dress is gorgeous, just know what you're getting because the stock pictures and sometimes reviews aren't the most helpful. Someone else said the fabric itches. I did not experience that.

Perfect for me
I brought this dress for a holiday event and to me, the dress is gorgeous. I love the heavier material and the sparkle in the stitching. I am a taller girl (5’9) & I think it fits me perfectly. Can’t wait to wear it

Beautiful!
I bought this online for a NYE party, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it's not solid grey. It has an iridescent thread sewn in it, so it simmers. Perfect for NYE or holiday parties. It is a nice thick sweater material. I'm 5'0 ft, and it is too long on me. So I will need it altered.

Subtle shimmer
It does not come through on the photo, but the material is shot through with shimmery metallic thread. Absolutely gorgeous in person, this is a great winter dress. I'm 5'4", so the dress comes to about 4 inches past my knees.
It is a thicker material, which is great for a winter dress in cold climates. I felt nice and cozy in it.
I normally wear a 1 or 2 in dresses, but have a belly so sized up to a 3. This dress is indeed a more fitted bodycon style, so sizing up was a good idea. No one needs to see my belly displayed like an overstuffed sausage. I'll be wearing it with shapewear beneath to smooth things out.

I liked it. But not for my body type. I didn’t feel comfortable how it was looking on me. I ordered 2 sizes online size 0 n size 1. Size 0 was looking perfect.

I like it
I feel like it fits a little tiny bit larger than my normal size and it's definitely longer which works for me, I'm tall. If you're short, it will be too long. The tinsel pops in it more in person.

Holiday multicolor dress
It fits great, it’s beautiful. The only thing is that I wouldn’t call it deep black, it has multicolored metallic thread in. I checked the tag to make sure I got the right dress. So yeah it’s beautiful, but I was hoping to be able to wear it again during winter, but it is a holiday dress all the way to me. That’s why I was kind of disappointed about it. And it fits just a bit too big to the waist to my taste. I got a 00, I’m 5’7, 200 lbs
