The material is soft, and I actually wore these walking around the mall at a good clip (it's a mile long walk) and nothing got pinched/tight/hurt. The back straps keeps the shoes on securely, which I think helps when walking any distance. Got a few compliments, too. The shoes are light weight for being platforms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very narrow, size up They just arrived and I was so excited to pop them babies on.. the medium width shoes are completely opposite of the wide width shoes.. I feel like I should have sized UP. Just to put my feet in these. I’ve bought the wide width but they are too wide so I figured I’d try the medium width instead… nope nope is there just no perfect fit??? The width is either TOO wide or TOO narrow no in between. Criss Cross strap digging into my foot
