Awesomeness as Advertised
It's EXACTLY what is advertised. It says it's crocheted, which means there's yarn involved. It's very obviously see through in the pictures. You can wear something underneath or not to make your own look. I chose a larger size knowing I can use the ties to make adjustments. The only thing that bugs me is my jewelry causing snags, not the fault of the garment. I have other crocheted clothes from Torrid, and these are still great, so this top was an easy choice.

Not so Much
I really wanted to love this top, but it arrived yesterday and I just can’t. For starters, it is much more of a cream/off white than other items I have that claim to be the same color. Secondly, the side seams stick out in a weird way under the arms—like little flaps or wings. Normally I could just bust out my sewing machine and nip that seam in a bit, but with this piece it’s not an option. The length is great (not as short/cropped as most tops seem to be lately), and the fabric is soft and comfortable. But if I order a smaller size to try to stretch/flatten the seams under my arms, I’m afraid it’ll be too tight around my hips, so this one will be going back unfortunately. As an added side note, the ties seem excessively long; there is a LOT of bulk at your shoulders when you tie it.

You might as qell not wear a shirt at all with this. It's completely see thru with huge holes. Idk how they managed to make it look not so revealing on the model. I love the cut and length of it. If they would only make it in a different material. Feels like it's going to get fuzzy too. It's like yarn.

Crop top
I wear a size 2 and while the tank fits, don't buy it if you have a bigger belly unless you want a cropped shirt. I had planned to layer this with a colored under shirt and a light weight spring blazer for work but can't because it fits like a cropped tank. Obviously it would hang lower on someone with a smaller belly and chest but sadly I'm going to have to return it.
