The skirt fit as expected and gave more stretch than I expected for when I sat down. I have already worn it to dinner with a friend. The light denim with the stripe will match most anything. I wear skirts in the winter with tights. I know some may be embarrassed to say, but I am tall, broad though the shoulders and have enough breast size to hide my upper belly, but I have one of those BELLIES THAT HANGS, but I'm not wide through the hips. Waist sizes may be correct, but I have to buy a much larger size to accommodate my belly fat. The more weight I lose, the bigger it gets. My weightloss doctor said this would happen. To the point, it was flattering to my huge hanging belly. I'm a nurse so body parts do not make me ashamed, so I hope this review helps those women who do not want to mention their belly and have to wonder. So, no big hips or thighs, huge belly, fits great!

It's so stretchy that I probably could have sized down, but it's comfortable, which is what I wanted for my 12 hour shifts. The pinstripe is a cute little detail. My only "complaint" is that it's much longer on me than it is on the model, but that's not really Torrid's fault as much as it's my 5'2" frame. I love this skirt. I'm currently getting ready to comb the site to see if it comes in other colors. A black one would be great.
