Frustrating But Beautiful
I was so, so excited about this necklace when I found it online (and yes, even though it looks like three, there's only one catch, so it's one necklace). Then I got it in the mail. The blue stone isn't a solid, glowing blue as it appears in the pictures. The design of the chain with the spike-ish additions is such that the spikes get caught inside the sides of the coins on the chain next to it. I know, weird, right? It surprised me, and it's a bit annoying that it's continuing to happen. I'm looking at the coin chain and wondering if I could take a pair of pliers to it to close and flatten out the coins the rest of the way, but I fear that would compromise the strength of that chain and make it entirely useless to me. I guess I'll just keep separating them every time I put this on--or else hang it for display when I'm not wearing it to prevent it from consistently becoming tangled. It's still pretty enough, though it be frustrating as well.
The biggest positives I have to say are that this is of a lighter weight than I thought (which feels good to me), and the chain extender is actually a decent length so I can adjust this a good deal based on what I need for the day. I LOVE that long chain extender, and this is still a beautiful necklace even if it's constantly getting caught on itself, so four stars it is. But next time, Torrid? You CAN improve this design and do better.
Enjoy your shine, friends! ❤️

Nice necklace
I bought this necklace sometime ago and I liked it really much. I like specially the blue color of the stone.
