Firstly, regular cotton (I don't think it needs the spandex, but it does offer some stretch if you prefer that comfort). Second, structured/kinda retro shape. I'm very pear shaped and love dresses that have a clear waist (the belt helps with that) and full skirt. No problems with fit on the top half; I don't have a very big chest compared with my hips but it didn't feel too loose. And third, a fun pattern: as others have said, this manages to be fun yet also somewhat subtle, despite being covered in Tinkerbell. She's not even a favourite character of mine, I just loved the design. Got a lot of compliments the first time I wore it. This is also relatively 'long' for this style; sometimes mid/knee length dresses feel too short for work (I'm only 5'3", but I have a large butt that steals some of the length!) but I didn't feel like this one would be too revealing walking up stairs.

It has the same vibe as the dresses Disney sells in their Dress Shop but more affordable. The waist gives it great shape.
