In my humble opinion, DO NOT SIZE DOWN, they are true to size! I usually wear a size 11, I ordered a 10.5 after reading the reviews and my toes hit right at the top, unfortunately. Size 11 and most all other sizes were sold out the day I received my order. I will probably have to gift these to my daughter, which she'll love, but I really wanted a pair too. :(
