Poor workmanship
I bought this when we’re went any reviews yet and had high hopes. It came and it was kinda smooshed but not as bad as others I’m now seeing. I was able to flatten it out the best I can but it’s cheaply made and I don’t think it’s worth the money in my opinion. My husband and I attend 3-5 rodeo events each year and I was really looking forward to wearing this on 5/17 but that’s not going to happen. It’s got small holes all over it where the weaving isn’t done well. If it were maybe 10.00 and being used for a Halloween costume … great! It’s also sized as a one size fits all but I must have a big head because it didn’t fit right at all. I really did love the embellishment around the hat.

I bought this hat despite the bad reviews hoping mine wouldn’t come smooshed… even if the box wasn’t completely destroyed, the hat didn’t stand a chance! The material feels and looks like it is possibly the cheapest woven material they could’ve used. However, I really do like the outer band and thought I’d just take it off and put it on another hat but they glued it on. The inner band is actually nice and thick too but the hat itself was so bent out of shape that I couldn’t put it on without it looking like a chip and dip hat at a Mexican restaurant. That’s after steaming it to try to get it unsmooshed. I’m glad I only paid half price, but honestly, even that was more than what the hat is probably worth. I recommend looking elsewhere if you want a cute western hat unless you want a flimsy chip and dip hat. Oh, that just gave me a Halloween costume idea, it might be useful after.

Cheaply made/misshapen
When I ordered this there were no other reviews, so I was taking a chance. I have 2 pair of cowboy boots and have always wanted a cowboy hat as well, and this looked so pretty. It came in a pretty decent size box, and there was only 2 tshirts in with it, so I was hopeful. However, it was very misshapen so it looks terrible; and it’s very cheaply made, I can only describe it as one of those really cheap children’s play hats. There was also a spot on the brim where they didn’t cut the straw material right and it looks like it’s ripping already. Very disappointed, will be messaging customer service on this one for sure.

Flimsy and cheap
I received my hat in a box from my online order with several other items. The hat was scrunched. Like it was "pressed" into the box and tossed around with all the clothes. I called and said it was damaged they wanted pictures. I sent several. My RedHighLaceBraletteTop smelled like a chemical smell and the capri pants were "Stuck" to the bottom of the box. I was on hold for over 30 min. CS was VERY confused. I said ok if your finished with the the return I need to go and hung up. Thet canceled my return. I called and asked why. They said I should pick up my items from the store from now on because of returns. So if I drive all the way to the mall and walk to the store I am handicap BTW and use a cane and can NOT cary much with a purse and cane just for a salesperson to see that it was damaged in shipping?????? DONT WORRY TORRID IT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN THIS WAS MY LAST ORDER FROM YOU.
