It's sheer enough that your shape is roughly visible, so it doesn't add bulk, but it camouflages those not-so-great areas (like my hideous boob-spilling-into-my-armpit area and love handles. It looks adorable with shorts and a black tank! It is a bit large, but it's supposed to be, so I consider that true to size.

Just purchased with my Haute Cash...I love that it is soft, light weight, adds class to any summer outfit from shorts and tees to a great sundress! LOVE, LOVE THE FRINGE!! I'M thinking I might try other Kimonos as well! Good piece for your wardrobe....dont hesitate to buy it!!!
