I bought these on a whim, because I was out walking in the shopping center and it was HOT (good 'ol Georgia weather LOL) and I had no intentions on shorts. My niece picked these out because she has a pair similar to these in kids, so she wanted me to be like her. I dreaded the thought of shorts because in my mind I imagined them riding up in the middle because of thighs, and I'm wearing an upside V all day - no bueno, not cute. I tried them on anyway and another pair that has the roll on the bottom, crossing my fingers and praying to the god of shorts and this new workout plan that I can fit them; and I did! They looked amazing! I walked throughout the store just to make sure I didn't get the 'upside down V', not in these! No you can't see my but cheek, yes they look like regular shorts but a smidgen shorter on a shorter person (I am 5ft), yes they fit true to size -I am a 14-, yes you should watch the video of how they look on the model, yes if you live close to a Torrid you should go in store to TRY THEM ON AND BUY, and finally yes these are amazing and I have no idea why they would get anything besides a 5star. One word of advice.. wash on COLD! If you have a delicate setting dry on delicate low heat or air fluff, do the little flop soon as you take them out the dryer and they are good to go :)
