Absolutely beautiful coat!
I recently purchased this coat, and now that I have it, I'm in love!!!! It was a good purchase. The coat has some weight to it, and definitely feels like it will be a warm coat. At a Harry Potter fan, I absolutely love the beautiful blue lining of the coat. It is better than I could have possibly imagined.

Lovely Coat
I absolutely love this coat! I ordered a size up so I could layer if needed and it fits wonderfully. The hidden Fantastic Beasts features are great. The lining is beautiful and the buttons are cute. the coat is comfortable and warm.

Amazing Fit!
I've been searching a while for a new coat since I've lost weight and this coat is amazing! I usually wear a size 0 in dresses and shirts and I know torrid's coats usually run big so I ordered a size 0 and I'm glad I did because the coat fits just right. It's incredibly stylish while providing warmth. It's a weighty coat but will definitely need to layer up when it gets colder. I was confused about the pockets when I first received it but I saw that they were just stitched up, like what they do with dress pants, so I took some scissors and cut the gray stitches from the lining and the pockets opened up nicely. Highly recommend this coat.

Classic coat with adorable touches
I'm a huge HP/FB fan, so to find a classic coat that is secretly themed it was a MUST purchase. The outer fabric is a bit itchy....similar to wool, but it is warm and the lining is adorable!

Beautiful Coat!
I bought this coat the first day I saw it advertised! I got a size up because I was worried about layering clothes in winter time. Fits perfect! I’m 5’6” and the coat is a little long and no pockets is the only reason I give it four stars instead of five. I LOVE the feel and colors of the inside. Perfect for cooler weather and definitely winter time!

A little work for the pockets
I received this jacket today, and I was immediately off-put by the pockets because they seemed fake. They aren't- they're just extremely well sewn shut. I understand that it is a common practice but wow, did mine involve a surgery to open. Other than some buttons that could use some more love, I don't have any other complaints. Being a tall gal (6') the coat falls pretty well and is a good length, which is a nice change from most jackets that run too short on me. I usually order anywhere between 0 and 2 here, usually 2 for shirts cause of my bust (38DD) but I ordered a size 1 and it is a nice fitted jacket. Also, being from northern Ontario, based on the description I didn't expect it to be a super heavy jacket, it is a more of a nice fall coat. It's exactly what I needed and to have a less obvious piece of HP merch is great.

Exactly what I wanted
I just got this coat after wanting it for a few weeks. It's exactly what I'd been looking for, a classic coat with a few nice touches to make it something special.The pockets are real, they're sewn closed so the coat keeps its shape before you buy it, just snip a few threads and they open up. The buttons are sewn on a little loosely, but it comes with a couple extras for repair and the lining is a little cheap feeling but the sleeve lining is lovely and soft. The wool blend is a little scratchy, but it's a wool blend coat so I'm not surprised. The 2x is maybe a little roomy on me but I'm the lowest end of a 2x size wise, so you may want to size up depending. All in all i fell in love with the shape of the coat and it is exactly what I wanted. Also it's machine washable!

Needs a little up-front work
I bought this coat a couple weeks ago because I absolutely love the lining and the length, the pop of blue when the wind kicks up is delightful. but, it did require some TLC right out of the bag. the pockets need to be opened, I'm not sure if the other reviewers on this page have never had to do that before but it is pretty standard, no trouble there. One of the pockets was missing a line of stitching inside that I was easily able to run an invisible seam over and sort out.
The belt was the major issue with my coat, it arrived with the button holding on by a broken thread so obviously it came off when I tried it on. Another round with some sturdy thread and we were back in business. Torrid compensated me for these repairs with a coupld of discounts to my next order as I really wanted to keep the coat and there were no more availible in my size, The belt is disconnected at the back, wh
