I appreciate that the dress came out the package looking exactly like it was advertised on the site because that's hasn't always been the case in previous purchases. The length of the dress for my 5'9 frame is perfection, I love the overall movement of the fabric that was chosen for this garment, and I absolutely adore the subtle lace accents that's on the sleeves. I also love the fact that this garment has a second lining which makes wearing a secondary half slip optional, and the added pockets is the delicious cherry on top of this beautiful masterpiece. In the event that this dressed is offered in a secondary solid color, I might just decide to add it to my closet. Beautifully done Torrid.

That being said, I think it would also look amazing to wear it fitted. For reference, I’m size 24/3x, 42DD, and I bought the size 3. I’m 5’9” and it came to my ankles, and I have to pick it up so I don’t trip when using the stairs. I know plus size women get tired of could shoulders, but they are kind of trending again for all sizes, and I got compliments everywhere I went in this dress - so if you’re drawn to this one, just try it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from But If You Can Absolutely LOVEEEE this dress!!!! It fits perfectly and compliments my figure so well. I’m a 44DD in the chest and have a big butt and tummy. It makes me look smaller in the tummy than I am and hugs my chest but not in the bursting out the seams way. You can loosen and tighten the chest area to your liking depending on if you want cleavage or not. The dress is flowy and makes me feel like a princess. I just love how beautiful I feel in this dress. I match my eyeshadow of a bronzy-pink to go with the dress. I’ve gotten so many compliments it’s insane. I wanted the other color but it went out quick. Plus I’m short 5’2 and I weight about 320 and it came right at my ankles which is perfect for me in a size 2, with room to spare in the body area if you’re between sizes. I can definitely see this fitting if you’re 1 size smaller or bigger depending on your body type.

Since it was sewn in tiers I just used my seam ripper and removed the bottom tear and then sewed a 1/4 inch hem all the way around and it made the perfect length for me. 5’ 46DDD, 260lbs and I got a size 1. The fit was perfect. My kids told me I looked like a forest fairy princess. With all the excess fabric I made scrunchies and also covered a headband for accessories. Super cute. I hope new fabric patterns become available because despite the excess work, I would buy it again just to be able to create matching accessories. I do wish the built in slip was shorter. My kids told me it looks layered and liked it longer but that bothers me just a little. Maybe if they created “Short” for festi wear. I love this category line but I find most of my festi wear is super long for a little forest fairy like me.
