Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite jeans. They run big and I ordered a regular vs short based on reviews, but I love the look and feel of these jeans. I thought the dirty look would be too strong, but they aren’t as brown as in the pictures.

As a millennial I’ve been wearing skinny jeans with for almost 20 years with the false assumption that I couldn’t pull off anything baggier. But oh my god these are so comfortable and so versatile and so much more flattering and modern. I regularly get compliments from the youths now. I love these so much I bought five pairs (yes five) and wear them basically everyday. Be aware that they are a more cropped fit. I am 5’7” but I have such a long torso and short stubby legs that I always need short fit pants but they were sold out in my size so I ended up with regular and they still hit me well above the ankle. I think they look best cuffed so they end up more like mid-calf. I also love that they don’t have a zipper, just buttons. I’ve been tucking in a bunch of tops and don’t have to worry about them getting caught or damaged. Seriously if you are on the fence, don’t hesitate!!!! I will probably be buying even more pairs before they go out of stock!

I’m usually a 24 or 3, but i sometimes get a 26/4 so it’s slouchy … strongly recommend getting your usual size and NOT sizing up. 24R fit me just right, not too tight not too loose. Just right. Sizing down will be hit or miss IMO in retaining the unique cut/barrel shape, but If your usual size is a lil big, you might be able to size down, but in doing so the jeans might lose their distinctive cut if you fill them out. They’re supposed to be baggy. I’m 5”11, 24R basically hit me as ankle crops, tall T would have been best to be true normal length, but they were out, so I compromised w/ R and it’ll be OK with Shoes with hidden/no socks type style. The style is amazing! The wash is …. Distinctive… definitely a statement piece, not for everyday go to unless you’re really a fashionista type. They remind me a bit of grunge /1980s acid wash jeans…. I love em & I can’t wait to find the perfect top to finish it! They look best with a tucked in shirt w/ a belt or a crop/at the waist length. Barrels shine with a defined waist profile & will look really awkward with tunics or anything below waistline (I tried a tunic with it, I like tunics & was kind yeah nope! Not with these!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Freaking adorable jeans! I can’t say how much I love these jeans! They are by far my favourite pair, and I’ve had many from Torrid. I’d never tried a barrel leg before these and actually found it quite flattering and so comfortable, and I think the seaming down the sides is such a nice detail. I would recommend sizing down 1 or 2 sizes. I got a 16 but could have probably gone with a 14.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy Love the barrel jean. But I’ve list a lot of weight and ordered a 20. Should have ordered a 16 or 18. Still cute. The mistake was ALL mine. I like the button closure. They look good on, too big, but I’ll figure something out. Maybe get them taken in. The length is perfect though. I like Torrid is offering different lengths. I wish they would do this in their maxi dresses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love but not for me Oh how I wanted to love these!! I love a denim with a different look (color, shape, details). I had to some down 2 sizes but they still didn't quite fit right. Made some weird folds in the crotch area and I just couldn't make it work. But also a barrel style jean may just not be right for me. The denim and color were great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love These Jeans! I usually go for jeggings or the bombshell skinny jeans. I know barrels are the new craze but wasn’t sure it would flatter my body type - boy was I wrong! It’s really flattering, and the design and colour really make it pop. Extremely comfortable. I sized down a size because I saw reviews saying it runs large and that is true.
