The material is not as thick as the regular jeans, and long enough to where they are not too short on my 5"9.5 frame. Size 0 fit perfect. . If you're between sizes I would certainly size down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute Jean wonky fit It’s a cute jean, super stylish however they did not work for me. They ran big, I ordered a 22. My biggest complaint is that the crotch hung down to my mid thigh!! So even sizing down wouldn’t help.

The crotch hung way down, they ran big in the stomach (I know that they designed to be a loose fit but these were extremely loose) I ordered a size 22. I have ordered numerous pairs of jeans from Torrid and nothing has fit properly. Im jealous of the people who have had luck with them.
