Lovely for some of us
I’ve been somewhat conflicted with the new branding—the prices are super high these days, and this all happened at the same time that Torrid nuked and established and familiar sizing system. Why any business would do that is beyond me, but here we are.
I tend to avoid paying full price for most of the new brands, including Festi. The full price is simply not worth it. That said, if you can get this on sale, it’s cute, as long as it works for your measurements. For reference, I’m 5’ 8”, 42” waist, 40C or 42C bust (depends upon the brand), and 46” hips. I weigh about 200lbs and am not very busty. Historically I have work a size 2 or 18/20. For almost everything in Festi I’ve had to size down to 1. In the jeans I’ve had to size down to a 16!
This lovely gauze/muslin weight dress is pretty with lace inlays. The blue dress has a poly liner sewn into the full thing. I’m bummed that isn’t fine cotton, like you see with Belle Isle. For my purposes, I probably won’t be able to wear this for much of summer because the poly liner doesn’t breathe.
I’m 5’8” and would never wear this without bike shorts—but I wear all my dresses and skirts with bike shorts to prevent chub rub.
For the styling, this could be paired with a belt to help define more shape, but I’m totally living my best muumuu life these days, so I’m fine with it as is.
I recommend the dress, but first I would carefully read every single review because some are reporting the white / cream version of this dress has no liner. Depending upon your measurements (including height) this may not work for you.

Perfect!
This dress is perfect! Pockets, lined, a little flirty, the blue is beautiful in person, adjustable straps, great length, I can't say enough good things about it! I do recommend going down a size.

Got lucky enough to find my size at a store after trying a couple. I absolutely love this dress. Its good quality and a little thicker than some since it has I guess what you'd call a slip under thats attached/sewed in. It does run big but overall a great summer piece. Cant wait to wear it this summer to the wineries with family

This is so cute I bought it in 2 colors! This dress can be casual or dressy depending on the accessories, and you gotta love the pockets! Runs a little big so I sized down. A little flirty, a little sexy, all around good dress.

Great dress!
Pockets! It has pockets!
I love this dress. It’s a loose dress below the bustline, but shows off my “assets” nicely but hides the chubby bits a little. The fabric feels good. I’m 5’4” and the length was perfect, but part of the joy of this dress is that I could also wear it with a pair of jeans. What you cant see right off in the pix is that, in front, the trim forms a heart in the center. It’s little details like that make a dress unique.
It’s a great casual dress for the summer.
