Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THIS DRESS This is my favorite Torrid dress yet! It’s the perfect summer dress. Good arm coverage. The apple color is like a “dead”mauve or a dusty rose. It’s unique. The fact that the seams aren’t sewn together doesn’t bother me, I just put a sports bra on with some shorts under and it’s really not noticeable at all. I ordered my normal size and it fits perfect. 10 out of 10!

I probably would have never ordered this just seeing it online but I went into a store to make a return and they have a decent Festi selection so I tried some things on. I ended up loving this dress. Fun flirty summer dress! Got my normal size 2 and it’s really comfortable. Can wear the sleeves more up or off the shoulder with a strapless bra.

The buttons go all the way down so there is a tinnnyyyy thin slit from the top all the way to the bottom! Doesn’t bother me because I wear black biker shorts under but I do think that’s an important detail!

I am 5'6 and 230lbs i got a size 1 but im bigger on top and more apple shaped.( not blessed with big butt/hips to even out my large top half) with a long torso, broad shoulders and shorter legs. But this dress seemed to make me feel more proportionate with elastic waist(making my waist seem smaller.) Make sure to wear skin toned under garments otherwise you may catch a peek through the laced/gapped areas in between buttons all along the front of the dress. ( unless u dont mind that!) I paired the dress with a vintage necklace + earrings & sandals. It accentuates your chest and covers your belly, while still giving you shape! A+ torrid!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute dress I read the reviews and the complaints about the gap. I bought it anyway. The dress is so cute and I got it on sale. It was very easy to fix the gap. I just sewed it up and it was prefect. It's really cute and I received a lot of compliments. I took away one star because I had to sew up the gap. Not sure why you would make it like that. Sorry the pic isn't great.

And after receiving them I was STILL undecided on which o liked better to wear on my special day! Both fit true to size and hug and flow in all the right places. Definitely my best Torrid purchase to date. I am 5’7, 228, 44DDD and purchased this in a 2. Oh! And I chose the black to wear that night. ;)

I am a 38H cup so my bras are a little larger so I will hunt one one down that won’t show at the neckline edge. My dress has a little awkward gap in buttons at the crotch area but it doesn’t bother means I could always take it to get altered there if necessary. I will totally order this in the black since I love all the details and fabric.
