70s Punk
I loved these jeans the minute I saw them and was able to get them on sale. I'm like 5 ft. nothing and depending on the style, cut, and fabric I generally wear a Short size 1 or 2 (18-22). I ended up ordering the 18 Short and I'm glad I did. I'll say it's only slightly long and the hem just touches the ground when I'm wearing my 2 1/2 in. heeled sandals. I will say the waist does run slightly small and I do feel it, but I find that Torrid jeans tend to stretch after wearing them a whole bunch and I expect that these will also stretch over time. I find that black and gray jeans tend to run a little tighter than regular blue jeans as well. The rest of the jeans fit perfectly and the thighs have already started to stretch and if I had gotten the size 20 Short, I think they would be too big eventually. I've washed the jeans in a garment bag and hung them to dry due to the studs on the jeans and so far I haven't lost any and there hasn't been any shrinkage, color bleeding, or tearing. I think the quality of the jeans is good, a nice heavier denim, not paper thin like other flare pants. I love how the flare gives 70's vibes, but the studs definitely give punk vibes, love it. I also have decided to eventually spray the studded area with a bleach wash so I'll still have the stud effect when they fall off, and they probably will since they are only glued on. I have to say I've already gotten compliments on the jeans and told them where to buy them. Hope everyone that likes this type of jean can enjoy it.

Dreams can come true
I am in loooooove. I have always wanted a pair of jeans like this ever since 1998 when my sister had this beautiful extreme bell pair of jeans that I would envy but wouldn't fit me! Brat! We didn't have a lot of money then either and lived in a rural area where we had to drive 30 min just to get to Walmart and Walmart sure didn't carry these! Closest I could find was slight flare or wide leg. Sigh. But now at the ripe old age of 44 my teenage dreams have come true. Although my pant size has increased a wee fit since then. Beautiful. I was so scared of them not fitting I went up a couple sizes. They fit but with room to move. A tad long but I can fix that. Run a tad small but not by much. I love them thank you!

Sky high? Yep!
I ordered a size 12 short, and the waistband comes up to about 3 inches from my bra band (the rise is 13 in.). The length is just fine, inseam measuring a little over 27 inches for the short. The pant legs drape across the top of my bare feet and I'm 5'3". There is a slight odor, but I've come to expect this from black or gray dyed denim. It's not strong, only noticeable if I put my nose in it (at least not the pair I received), and I expect it to lessen after washing. The waistline lying flat is about 17 in. across, so about 34" total, but has a bit of stretch. This measurement is at the lower end of the size chart, but still fits with the 34"-36" band for size 12, so you may want to size up for comfort, or keep your regular size if you like your pants tighter at the waist. The hips measure 20" lying flat, so about 40" around, right above the crotch. The bells on the pant legs are not as dramatic as the blue Festi Rose embroidery jeans, so it is easier to walk in these, but I think they are heavier in weight due to the denim. My measurements are 46-37-43 for reference.

yes we love studs!!
out of all the sky high super flares, these have the best fit and may be my favorite pair. the studs are of course killer and charming and suit the flare really well. i have also been waiting for a pair to release that wasn't your usual blue rinse denims, so this like faded black grayish color is perfect! i wouldn't necessarily consider it stretch, but there is a good amount of give to these that help the jean move with you. i always order 24R in the super flares (i'm 5'8). this is my "downsize" size, as going with my most common fit of 26 in these leaves too much fabric in the crotch for me and tend to loosen as the day goes on, whereas there is no extra fabric of bulkiness when getting a 24. high rise is not my preferred fit for jeans, but i just can't get enough of these super flares lol. when the fit is right they make such a statement! how about a low rise super flare... lol

Nice but runs smaller
Very nice jeans, but they run smaller than other Torrid jeans. The denim is light weight and doesn't have as much stretch.

Beautiful Jeans, Just Not
I purchased these in my usual Torrid size 16 Tall. For reference, I’m 5’5” and 225 lbs with a tummy that sticks out a bit. Unfortunately, these were very snug on me and just didn’t give me the look I was hoping for.
The denim felt fairly rigid with very little give, and the dramatic flare seemed better suited for someone taller. I absolutely loved the concept and styling, though! These would be gorgeous for a boho-inspired outfit or paired with boots for a western vibe.
I’m so sad to be returning them because I usually love the Festi collection, but this style just wasn’t the right fit for me. Still a beautiful pair of jeans and I can definitely see them looking amazing on the right person.

Small Fit
I really wanted to love these but way too long & really runs on the small size (2 sizes small) all around! Love the style & would love more of a stretch which feels like no stretch at all!

I got these last week. They fit weird. Waist too big and thigh part is too slim. They eventually stretch out through day. I will definitely have to get them tailored. Length is perfect

What On Earth...
Who sized these jeans, Cinderella's mice?!?! I have a lovely Flare collection growing in my closet so when I saw these, I needed to add them to my collection. WTH?!?!?! These are 1-2 inches Smaller in the waist and thighs than my other 4 pairs of Flares! I'm a 16S and these feel like their a size 12/14 ... I even compared them to my other Flares and you can clearly see the size difference Even Though they all say 16S ... I have thighs and booty and these pants weren't made for my shape, they're mine now and you can best believe that I'm gonna squeeze myself into them, wear a Tunic with them and rock on. Will recommend but go up a size or two.
