How To Wear It

Definitely glad I got it
So I had seen a lot of negative reviews for this shirt, but I have always fantasized about being able to wear one so when it went on clearance, I risked it and I’m glad I did. The fit is much nicer than I expected however, I am definitely gonna need to get some boob tape because there is absolutely zero way to wear a bra with this shirt of any type and it only has the two small strings to tie it closed in the front, but even with that and being fairly large chested, I am pleasantly surprised and pleased, and got an awful lot of compliments with this cute little summer top!
However, I would not have purchased it at the regular price and can understand why other people would not pay quite that much.
I love this top and I love the way. It makes me feel, I can’t wait to wear it downtown this summer!

Doesn’t Hurt To Try It On
I LOVE a good halter and really wanted this one to work for me. Unfortunately, it did not. I bought both colors in two different sizes - 0 and 1. For reference, I’m approx. 5’6”, 44”/38DD bust, 37” waist, 44” hip. Most times for fitted bust tops I need a size 1 or I spill out. My neck to chest area is also shorter which was part of the problem with this top. I could not adjust the length of the halter strap which made the top hang lower and no amount of tightening the two front strings helped. Neither size, loosened or tightened, flattered my girls at all. So disappointing because both colors are beautiful in their own way, the fabric was nice, length overall was perfect, and I liked how the back hung, very sexy yet sweet. The phantom was like a charcoal black, perfect for lighter skin tones, because sometimes jet black is just too stark. I would highly recommend to anyone with a longer torso and perkier girls to give it a try because overall, halters are just so darn flattering on curvy ladies!

Sorry it's a pass for me.
Meh, I'm not impressed. Feels like a cheaper cotton. Color is NOT a rich brown at all, which makes it look even more dull..and for the first time ever am I saying that this festi frock runs SMALL. I am usually a 1 or 2. With that being said, I usually go with the smaller size with Festi because they usually run big. Not this one. You have been warned. It's going back. Bought online.

2 stars for concept idea
Agree with other reviewer…this Festi runs tts to smaller. Also, cool concept but I missed noticing they have the halter pinned above the ties…if you don’t pin your chest is open all the way to that. The material is a very thin cotton, didn’t shrink much in wash. The ties are okay but because it’s a loose ruching, it will move along the string and separate; however, that does allow for adjustable fit.
I liked the color, tolerate the weight (this is for high temp wear) and the concept. But over all the execution was a miss for ease of wearing. The neckline was way low, and the back poufs out even tied tight. I’m keeping it to see if I can alternate make it functionable. It looks great on the models, but they’ve definitely made adjustments for photos.

Too small
Looks nothing like the image. Way too small and festi usually runs big. I’m so disappointed because the model pictures look so cute! The open in the front is also only tacked on at one spot.

Yuck 🤢
I’m disappointed! I find better clothes at thrift stores to be honest and this isn’t even a Torrid shirt. It fits lousy and I used my birthday coupon for it. I want to return it but I bought on clearance (and I can see why they were eager to unload it) the model looks good because she’s probably a size 14
I didn’t realize it wouldn’t close in the front. It’s actually laughable.
