How To Wear It

Perfect everyday shirt
I bought this shirt because I wanted something easy to wear that could be dressy or casual. I loved the color and don’t have anything in Orange so I went for it. I also chose the green option. I really like that I don’t have to iron the shirt since the wrinkles come out pretty easy once it’s hung and it looks like it should have the wrinkles anyway.

Color is gorgeous, flattering fit
I am fair toned with dark hair, and I love this dark orange color. I have loved the challis fabric in dresses, and it’s great here, too. It does wrinkle as you wear it, but I was still happy with the overall look and fit.

Favorite Torrid Purchase
I love this shirt and always get compliments on the color (it's more coral than bright orange). I haven't had any issues. It doesn't look wrinkled but it won't look freshly pressed either. I love how light-weight and soft the fabric is. And I can get away without wearing a cami under, which is the best feature for me, because I get hot easily, and I can wear it to work year-round.

Harper - Orange Challis Pullover Blouse
I love this top it has a soft feel. It is a vibrant orange color for anytime of year. It hangs nice, doesn't cling to my stomach. Only issue is it did shrink in cold water wash and line drying so up size and needs ironing.

A Slippery Slope to Indecent
I never thought that I would purchase an orange top, but this shade just seems to look beautiful on all skin tones.
The style of this top is a Torrid classic. It's just long enough to cover your stomach if that's your problem area. The sides come up a bit but not enough to expose your sides.
This shirt seems perfect, but there are a few issues.
This shirt wrinkles so easy that it's almost frustrating. It's not the kind of shirt you want to wear if you're going to be sitting down for a long period of time or doing a lot of moving around in. To be honest, it will wrinkle if you do anything other than stand still.
The shirt is a little tight in the arms. If you know that your arms are a little larger than your bust and waist, you should definitely size up.
My last and probably biggest issue with this top are the buttons. I carry a small cross-body purse; I always have the long strap going across my chest. Every time I wear this shirt with my purse, the buttons come undone! I'm assuming it's because the buttons are covered in fabric making them particularly prone to slipping through the button holes.
I had the misfortune of figuring this out while I was in public. I'm hoping this review will save some of you from finding yourself indecently dressed at work.
Overall, this top's unique color and flattering cut make it worth the extra time steaming it and occasional button inspection.

Meh....
The fabric is odd and wrinkles really easily. Wouldn't buy it again.

SHRINKS!
I loved this shirt ... the orange is beautiful! But it's made of rayon ... thought twice about buying it but loved the style & color so much, I bought it anyway, thinking washing it in cold should be fine.
Washed it on delicate cycle in cold water (as the tag says). It shrunk at least a full size. It now adds color to my closet but I am unable to wear it.
Very disappointed. Bought the same style (Harper) in a black polyester .. its awesome! Washes up nicely! But this rayon ... don't bother!

Shrinks to child size after one wash
When I first bought this shirt, I loved the way it looked. It fit beautifully -- just like my TEN other shirts just like this from Torrid. But -- I washed this shirt after wearing it one time, following instructions (just like I do with the other 10 I own), and it came out so small I can't even get it on my body anymore. It was loose and flowy when I bought it -- now I can't wear it. I"m super bummed.

Loved but SHRUNK badly
I have several of the Harper shirts, and I love them. But this one shrunk a lot and is now unwearable - I'm contacting customer service to see if they can help me. I followed the wash instructions on the tag, and my other similar Harpers were fine, but this one shrunk a lot. It's no so tight and so short that it's not wearable at all.
