I got a lot of compliments. I sized up and probably didn’t need to. But it looks nice oversized. I thought it worked well for business casual type work attire. But I think it could be dressed up or down from that.

Thoughtful cut, try it on
I love Torrid for their cuts. This one is going to be try on before you buy ladies, but the cut was perfect for me. I'm a pear. I'm a big hip and apron belly pear. Not a butt pear (sadly). This has great apron front and back with nice deep cuts up the sides so even if the fabric doesn't give it is able to fit over my hips and belly flap. I just love the look of it. You can see the texture in the black and it just adds a depth to the clothing. I love this top. I love this cut. Thanks Torrid.

Perfect top for understated elegance whether during the holiday season or paired with blue jeans. For me, silver accessories set it right off. And yes, if you are endowed in the bust area, order up.

Size Up for a Great Shirt
I love this shirt for casual holiday fun. I got it in the Wine/Syrah color and it’s gorgeous. I am going to order the black as well. I am not exactly sure why ppl didn’t like the velvet, while it’s not thick and luxurious, it is soft and a lovely color and also slenderizing. I read the comments and sized up 2 sizes, while I might could have gotten away with one size up I did notice it was roomy around the hips and smaller at the bust, since I have a larger bust I think I made the right call.

Better than expected!
Beautiful blouse. Only thing is that I am glad that I read the reviews before ordering it. I wear a 3 but ordered a 4, ir does run small.
Will be wearing with a typical skirt and a sash and a silver broach for a typical traditional look.
I will also wear with dark blue jeans sash/chain silver belt, and silver broach.

Super sweet!
Despite some of the reviews, I bought this blouse! And I’m glad I did. It’s not the highest quality of velvet on the market but for the sale price it’s quite lovely. The top fits nicely- I like the rounded hemline. The fabric is comfortable to wear.
