Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket My husband gave me this for our Anniversary and i absolutely loved it. At the time i was 240lbs i got a size 3 it fit like a glove. I love the cape bc its detachable, i got so so many compliments on it. The only thing i wasnt thrilled with was that the buttons were attached so flimsy i ended up losing all but the top and middle button. So if you do get this make sure u check the buttons and reinforce them.

As noted,the capelet & hood are separate with no way for it to be fastened to the coat itself. Considering I wanted the coat chiefly because of the capelet, I simply took it to a seamstress to have her permanently sew it to the coat. And the buttons are very loose (as on anything these days!) so I reinforced those as well. Love love LOVE this coat!

It was a 4 and I read that it ran pretty small so hoped I would be lucky and it would somewhat fit. Now I have a size 4 that doesn't fit and need a size 2! Please restock this and keep it forever!

I have gotten so many compliments and it just makes me feel so whimsical and like I'm trotting off to classes at hogwarts. It is surprisingly warm and holds up better than I expected against rain. I will say it attracts pet hair like no ones business and the caplet does tend to slide on my shoulders a bit and flip up when windy, but overall I love this more than anything I have ever owned. I've never seen a design quite like this and the lining is so silky and beautiful too. Would 100% buy again!
