I've tried so many high-waisted bottoms and have never found them to be quite right: they either don't come high enough, pinch my bikini line, roll down, give more belly bulge, etc. BUT THESE! THESE ARE PERFECTION! I am 5'4, "small fat" build & carry most weight in my belly, and wear a size 14, so I ordered a size 1 in these bottoms; they come about an inch above my belly button, cover my bottom nicely while still being sexy, form-fitting, and not giving any kind of sagging butt effect, and help shape my hips to give me va-va-voom. LOVE.THESE.SO.MUCH!!!

These definitely went higher than I expected and I love it. Good fit and very flattering for a simple, black pair of swim bottoms. With the rubber lining they stay up fairly well while swimming.

Since they are high waisted and I'm short they fit me high enough to cover my stretch marks as well as the fattier parts of my stomach. And aside from covering my stretch marks, the best part to me is how well it holds in my stomach. I have what I call "front butt". 3 kids and being overweight leaves that big pouch above the pelvis to hang. It does really well to smooth that out, but still very comfortable. This is the first time ive bought something other than a cheap walmart suit and I won't go back. In love with these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit I got this and the matching lace tankini top and it's so flattering and sexy I'm really glad I got it. These bottoms hold you in nicely while still being comfortable. I also feel like Torrid adjusted their sizing on their swimsuits this year. I remember last year and previous years reviews stated to always size up for the swimwear which I found to be true. While flattering, they were also really tight/thick and a little uncomfortable. This years swimwear seems just as flattering as previous years but more flexible and truer to size. I'm a 2X/18 in almost all torrid clothes and I got a 2x in the bottoms and 2 full cup in the top and both fit perfect.
