Definite 1920's vibes
Looks stiffer online, but in person flows like dream. I truly love flowy garments.....they command an entrance! This kimono also allows me to wear my strappy dresses in fall and winter, expanding my cold weather wardrobe. The eyelash lace, looks feminine against my skin......while still
revealing my rebel tattooed side. I love that you can still see my ink, while retaining some of that antique nostalgia that I love. I used to wear all vintage clothing, but finding it in my current size is next to impossible. This feels vintage.
The only negative I can see, is that it's really quite static-y. I'm going to hand wash it and see if that will take some of that cling away. But other than that, it's made quite well and looks heavenly on.
I have some antique mourning trim I'm going to hand sew onto it, to take it to the next level. Maybe some old glass sequins. Yum.

Great kimono!!
I got this at a really good price on clearance.And I used my twenty dollar rewards.I think I paid nine dollars for this.I love black.I wear a ton of black and this is just a perfect length, perfect fit kimono, actually, in these kimonos, I do go down a size.I usually wear a three, but I went down to a two, so it just lays nicely without being over sized.

Fits great!
Bought two different sizes because I couldn't figure out how I wanted them to fit but turns out I love both of them! I went one size up for the sleeves to hit longer, so it's full sleeve length. It hits about mid calf on me and I'm around 5'6. It's perfect for everyday summer wear, I've been looking for a lace kimono with long sleeves for years, I'm not a 3/4 sleeve person. They've always been too short before. I get so many compliments when I wear it out!
I also sized up two sizes, the sleeves are extra long and the back hits my ankle. I don't want to potentially wreck the lace against pavement so it's now my at home robe for my vampire castle dreams. Now all I need is the castle

Delicate & pretty
Very delicate fabric, it's thin but also soft. I have sensory issues and lace can trigger sometimes. This lace is nice and soft the look is delicate and feminine I can tell if I take care of this kimono it will last a long time. Versatile for different looks, it adds boho glamour to jorts or flowy skirts. Gives arm coverage without the heat! Getting lots of use out of it for the summer.
