I love these boots!!
Bought these shoes less than a month ago and have worn them over 5 times. They elevate all my outfits. So great for fall. Look great with shirts and shorts, but also looked good over pants. The tongue of the boot is fully movable, but I did not have issues with it moving like others mentioned.

Great boots
I bought them to wear them with my tartan skirt. They look exactly how I hoped they would. I love torrid ext wide boots. I have lipedema and 21.5 inch calves. Because of the stretch band they work for me. I use additional a boot widening spray and wear them at home for an hour.

Super comfortable!
These are great! Awesome looking, great comfort level, and there's a bit of a bounciness to the sole that I really enjoy. I got these in my regular size, 7.5, and they fit perfectly.

Cool boots
I bought 3weeks ago… there so cool looking, buttttttt, once again had to return to wide!
Torrid please start the width of your boots at 15 1/2 not all of of us plus size gals have larger calf’s, or wider feet.
Please make a variety….. I love your styles so please fix this

I’m so glad I got these before they sold out on my size (13 ex wide calf) because I love them!! They slid right up when I first put them on which really made me happy because I have super thicccc calfs/legs in general. My normal size is a 13 and that’s what I got and I think they fit as expected- not too big or small. The laces are functional so you can tighten or loosen as you see fit. I was hoping these wouldn’t slide down because of the laces. However, they did slide down a little but truly not as bad as other boots I’ve gotten from torrid. It was hard for me to pull them back up because I wore fishnets underneath / my long nails. But that’s not an issue that takes up away from the shoe overall in my opinion. These boots make me feel sexy and give me some extra confidence. So for that I truly love them and would recommend!

EXCELLENT Boots w/ Notes
First off, I am ecstatic that Torrid exists for us wide-calf girlies! I cannot buy knee high or thigh high boots anywhere else, so I am extremely grateful. There was a review that said that the calves on these are way too wide, and I hate to say it, but that person can clearly shop at literally any store that make standard size calf boots to find what they need. Please leave our rare, true wide-calf boots alone!
Now on to my review: I normally wear a size 10 in Torrid boots, and 9.5 in sandals or heels. The 10's in these fit my 18" calves great! There was a little gappage at the very top, but I don't mind that. I fully tightened the laces and I feel that I could wear pretty thick socks and still have some room. I could have went a half size down in these to a 9.5 and still fit. The tongue on these boots isn't attached at all so it is very floppy and movable. I plan to put a few stiches into the tongue to keep it in place. The sole is the BEST part for me. I love that it is the rubber sole and not the hard slippery sole on other boots. This alone will guarantee that I wear these out more because falling in public is one of my greatest fears LOL!

I got these a full size down from my normal non-Torrid size. So an 8 instead of a 9. I don't have a really wide foot though, just a high instep. The foot part fits perfect. It's not putting any pressure in the bones on the top of my foot. If you do have a wide foot/ankle/calf I'd imagine because of the laces, you'd have some give. I laced them tight so there's no tongue showing at all in the front. They're a tiny bit ripply at the back of the calf because they are a smidge too big in my lower calf, but nothing major. My widest part of my calf is just shy of 18". So there's a little gap at the top as well, but doesn't bother me. The ankle is a much better fit than previous tall boots that I've purchased. These didn't cave in on the ankles like some of my older Torrid boots that would be better for a bigger ankle. I love the soft faux suede, and the fact these have real rubber soles. Not those hard plastic heel caps that are slippery if you put your foot wrong on a hard surface. Thank you! I've been dreaming up outfits all night to wear with these!

Calf is Too Large
The boots are beautiful and comfortable but unfortunately I will have to return because the calf is just too large, even for my thicker calves. I even tried re-lacing them, per the suggestion of another reviewer, but they are still just too "gappy" around the calf and mid-calf area. The gaps make it look sloppy and not flattering with the dress I want to wear it with.
