The shoe size itself runs true to size, without pinching, and I appreciate the wide width. And the heel height is divine! BUT...The calves are cut far too wide, resulting in footwear that ruches around the ankle, and tends to slide your foot around a bit. The sole is rock-hard, there's no padding whatsoever to cushion your footsteps. I ended up running ribbons on the back of the calves in a corset look, just to get the fit I need.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wanted to Like These are so cute and I wanted to like them so badly, but they were too tight at the very top, not like the other boots I have bought in the past (and I have A LOT), making them uncomfortable to wear. The shaft of the boot did not stay up either, causing it to look bunched, which is not the intended look. I did end up sending these back.

Sorry Torrid I am usually a big fan of your shoes cuz the extra wide width is so much more comfortable than the medium width most shoes are today! These ones are a return😭😭
