The shorts are long enough for me to feel modestly but cutely dressed, and the straps are well-designed to stay at the length I've shortened them to. Love how pliable the denim is! I bought a size 16, but could have gone to a 14. (I'm 5'4" and 205 pounds.) I usually wear a 0 in tops and dresses but 1 in bottoms and flirt between 14 and 16 (short) in pants

For reference I'm 5'6" & 207 lbs. I actually bought this tank to go with these shorts My daughter loves the pair I gave her and I'm pretty pleased with mine.
