I absolutely love this outfit. It’s so different and cute. It’s flirty but not overly exposing on me. I’m around 200lbs, 5’6” and I ordered my normal size 1 and while the bottoms were a tad tighter than Im used to they still fit me. I really hope they release this with more color options. I felt so cute in this and it made my day.

Ended up being a really cute set but I get complaints. The shorts rode up a little, but maybe just from tights? They were still worth it and I look fwd to pairing them with other tops especially for summer. Length is good, I am 5'2" typically wear a 1x/16 and got the 1x.

So Flirty & Fun!
These are so cute on! They flare out at the perfect length. Hope you make these in more plaid colors and for other brand lines under Torrid. If you have a larger midsection than hips the waistband might be tighter than usual but it is still very stretchy.

I really Love these!
Yes yes it’s not technically a skort, but it sits on the body like a skirt even though its really shorts, so skort like haha. I love them! they are so comfortable they don’t make me self conscious of my belly/front like shorts usually do. And unlike a regular torrid skirt they don’t ride up my belly. I hope torrid makes a lot more of these in different colors and patterns.

ummm HELLO these are so cute. even though it's not exactly a true skort, i can see why they're described as such. the poofy-ness of the shorts do give an illusion of a skirt, they are definitely different than your usual shorts. i love the colors. i wear them about mid-rise instead of high rise as it's more comfortable and looks better for me, wearing it high pulls at the bottom and just isn't as cute. as someone else mentioned, love how they're kinda like bloomers. the outside fabric is not quite as soft as i was expecting and has some texture to it, but it is very soft on the inside so it doesn't bother me sensory-wise. i love them! i got my usual 4 bottoms (26/24).

Cute, waist runs small
Bought these at my local torrid and they don’t look quite like the online picture, because it’s less of a skort are more of a wide leg bloomer short. However they fit my body type very well (wider hourglass) so I find them to be very cute regardless.
Taking one star off because the waist runs SMALL, so I did size up one to a size 2.

Love These Shorts
I love these shorts disguised as a skirt. They hide my tummy because of the poofiness and make it so I can wear a crop comfortably. I got a size 2 and for reference I usually wear the bombshell skinny size 16. I am able to pair it with several shirts, white, salmon, dusty rose, light blue, teal, etc. So many possibilities. You can even wear a pair of tights and mary jane shoes and a white button up shirt for work. Literally all my clothes are Torrid and this is one of those staple pieces you can keep relative for years to come. I paired it with a salmon crop tee and Torrids vintage denim jacket in pic.

Lovesick w/Skirty Shorts
I am a mom of 4 (two my own and two step kids) and will be 50 in 4 years and I feel like a lovesick school girl in these shorts. It looks like a skirt because of the wide leg and ruffles but they're actually shorts and it actually helps to disguise my mama belly. I wore this outfit out to lunch with my husband for our 5 year anniversary and he loved it too. Highly recommend. I wasn't even scared to show a little middriff! Whaaa? Crazy. Wearing my usual size two in the shorts, shirt, and jacket.
