Try This On!
I don’t have much luck with Torrid dresses usually but when I was in the store today, I saw this hanging up and decided to try it on. It’s a little shorter than I normally like (I’m 5’9”) but I can sit down without showing anything inappropriate. The cut is super flattering & fits well in the chest. I wear a 34 DDD bra and bought this in 00. Bonus was at the store matched the online price!

This Dress Said YES, Girl
I bought this a month ago and finally tried it on… WOW. This dress is amazing. The velvet is soft, the shape is flattering, and it visually takes you down a whole size. It’s that good.
I purchased a size 1, and I’m usually a 1 in Torrid’s babydoll-style tops — the fit was perfect. Snatches you in the right places without even trying.
Honestly, I’m surprised they still have any sizes left.
If you look good in babydoll cuts, run — don’t walk. This is the dress.

Beautiful velvetish dress
So soft and beautiful. I wore this dress for my family Christmas picture and it was such a pretty winter look. I will say it is a little awkward to try and do a jacket or something over it because of the ruffle. I just went coatless in the pictures and all worked out. I'm 5"2 so hit below the knee.

Velvety Sweet
I’m about 5’3”, 275, size 42D/DD. I normally fluctuate between a 2/3 depending on the fit. I bought this in a 2 and it fits overall, my only complaint is the seam along the under boob. Whether you buy plus size or straight size, these seams never seem right. Pulling it down helps but you’re definitely going to be a little more cleavage revealing.

Ran Big, didnt love it
After weight loss, I'm down to 160, 38c/d. Got this in 00. The fit ran large at the chest/shoulder straps, causing it to feel like it was hanging down too low and too loosely.
This dress just didnt fit my top well, and the arms just felt weirdly loose. The body of the dress was also a bit loose overall, and I felt that overall the dress felt boxy or somehow just off on me. Didnt love it and returned it.
There are so many LBD options at Torrid that I do love, this one just wasn't a keeper.

Material is gorgeous! Dead is super cute. Cut for large breast with thinner midsection. I’m 42DDD and 2 was too big in top. Sadly returning it.
