When I got these I went down a full size from normally going down half a size. These were just overall not as wide as my black pair. Foot doesn't slip around nearly as much. I really enjoy wearing these so much more.

Note that the width is less adjustable than the lace-up boots, so if you have a wider foot in height (rather than just the base of the foot). But once they break in they’ll be very good.
