They are very roomy and require no breaking whatsoever, I wore them to a wedding reception and danced the night away with absolutely no pain. I can wear these to work with a nice skirt or to the store with jeans, they are so comfortable and they make my feet look smaller than my size 13's. the straps are elastic and they feel so good with the stretch around my high instep. Nice find I wish they would come back in stock.
