I am a Activities Director at a 55+ retirement. All my residents loved the dress on me. It was very elegant and comfortable.

I’m not usually one for velvet, but the moment I saw this dress I had to have it. The halter top is actually quite flattering, it’s so long that it just brushes the top of my feet, barely, and the best part is it has Pockets! Deep pockets so I can carry my phone, a lipstick, 💄 and something for self defense, just in case.

I wore this to a work gala- it was the perfect combination of simple, elegant, classic, and stylish. I got a ton of compliments. The fabric and cut mean no spanx (5 more stars right there!), and the length means tights are optional (you guessed it- 5 more stars again!) You do need a strapless bra unless you have really perky girls. I’m 5,9, and it was not completely floor length on me- shoes just peeked out, so I wasn’t tripping on my hem. Best dressy dress ever! Apologies for the cropped photo- the app zoomed in and cut out the top and bottom 😞
