i was slightly nervous about this skort, as sometimes the shorts' length differs too much from the skirt's length, but i think because these are true shorts in front + back with the wrap attached, the fit is more even. i love the shorter length of this skort. not micro mini, but definitely still mini. minis that are too long in the leg don't suit me, so when i saw this shorter mid rise i grabbed it. i went with my most common size of 26 and am very pleased with the fit, a 24 would be pretty snug and a 28 would be ill-fitting. i would say go with your true size. the rise still covers my belly button by about an inch or more. the wrap part of the skort aligns perfectly and right where you'd want it, and the tie is really easy to make into a cute bow. the shorts part has a button and zipper in the front that gets hidden by the wrap skirt. it is so cute!! and the denim itself is really soft. a black denim or an olive or forest green could be really cool.

Super cute from the front but just not flattering on me from the back..
Would be great if you have a little tummy and you want to try to conceal it, but sadly the shorts just don’t work in the rear for me 😔
