Flattering!
I received my dress last week and believe me when I say that I am so glad that I didn't wait! It fits perfectly and I'm loving the mock dresses on torrid and I'm looking forward to more. This is my second mock neck dress and my first one has skulls on it. I'm hoping to see that dress again in a different color because I would buy it no question!

If they made this in ten colors I would buy it in all of them and it (and whatever jacket or sweater I put with it) would be the only thing I'd need for work. It's flattering, work appropriate, and it looks land feels ike it's a high quality piece of clothing. LOVE it. Make more colors!

I love this dress! It’s comfortable and warm, I love the faux wool feel, it’s the perfect winter dress. You can wear it with anything! I wish there were more colors, I would have bought more.

This gas a very tailored, quality look to it. Has just enough stretch while still very structured.
I’m pear shaped: typically a 0 in tops and a 2 in bottoms. Bought the 14 - fits perfectly for me.

This is what we need!
I was very, very excited to see this dress come out because to me, it's exactly what the plus-size world is sorely lacking right now: neutral, versatile, understated, and--dare I say it?--stylish! And with a comfortable Torrid fit. The material is not lightweight, but is perhaps a bit lighter than I would have anticipated--not necessarily in a bad way, though. It is pretty long: I'm 5'2" and this is definitely maxi-length on me, but there is still very adequate ground clearance without hemming. I am returning for a smaller size, but my biggest gripe is that the underarms seem to really gape outwards in a way that I suspect will still be an issue even after sizing down. It's probably fine since I'd typically wear this type of dress with a jacket or cardigan anyway, but still not ideal. Also, the back of the neck fastens with two hook and eye closures, and as a single lady who lives on her own, I have no idea how I will get those fastened without having to get someone at work to help me as soon as I walk in. But I'll find a way to make it work because I really like the style. This is a rare gem for bigger girls and looks like something you could buy at a high-end boutique!

Worth The Try
I’m returning this for two reasons- 1) the next is too tight. I love the look of a mock neck but can’t stand the feel if collars too close to my neck. I’ve bought mock neck blouses from Torrid that were comfortable and decided this was worth the gamble. Torrid doesn’t make that many dresses you can wear with a blazer and I’m always looking for a good work power outfit. 2) The zipper was a little wonky. It definitely took some fines to get over a few catches. If the neck was comfy, I probably would have kept it despite the zipper because I paid half price through Torrid cash. I would not have kept it if I had paid fully price.
If you don’t mind the feeling of something around your neck, it’s definitely worth trying on to see if the zipper is better than mine.
What I loved- it had a nice weight to get, truly could have been all season dress. It was SO SOFT. I thought it fit truly to size. I’m wearing a 24. I normally wear a 3 in tops.

Fabric is very uncomfortable and rigid. I had to send this back. The color is a really bland gray also.
