This dress is so comfortable and looks so good on that, after ordering the first one, I ended up buying 9 more on sale with rewards dollars. I have an apple body type with a small chest and long legs. I worried that this dress would fit like a bodycon, but that isn’t the case at all. It can cling a little to the tummy area, but throwing on a pair of leggings or bike shorts has made that a non-problem.
It’s the perfect layering piece, with fabric thick enough to be opaque but thin enough to make sure you’re never overheated. The hook and eye closures give a lot of flexibility in terms of how much décolletage you want to show. (If you’re having trouble with the hook & eye closures popping open, you can make them a bit tighter with a pair of needle nose or jewelry pliers. They’ll still open and close, but only when you want them to.) It’s wonderful for travel as it doesn’t wrinkle in my suitcase or on my body and the texture of the fabric feels nice even after sitting on it for several hours.
I’ve been styling these dresses with leggings and Chelsea boots if its cooler weather, but just wearing a pair of bike shorts underneath and adding sneakers, wedges, or ballet flats in warmer weather.
It doesn’t seem to matter—this dress looks good with everything! I’ve also tried it with the pullover bolero sweaters (the black one and the white one), the challis quilted jacket in Flowing Jaco Periscope/Periscope, the Luxe Cozy Jacquard Boyfriend Cardigan (in cozy check/black/wild ginger), and the Oversized Boyfriend Cardigan in black & white check, all which add some interesting texture and visual interest to the outfit.

Figure flattering
This dress fit me just right and it flattered my figure nicely. I can't wait for a chance to wear it. It'll be perfect for spring and summer. The length is just right. I like the basic black. It'll go with so many jackets and shrugs that I have bought previously from Torrid. It was a great price too. If you're unsure, just do it.

Great dress.
This is a very nice dress. Just what I was looking for. I really like the Hook-Eye closures on the top front of the dress. It's stretchy and so comfortable. Fits great. It's cute with a light jacket or cardigan, and I really like lounging in it too. Another great find from Torrid.

Get this dress!!!
I bought this dress in black, olive striped, black/white stripes, and light blue. (Thank you Torrid cash!) I love it so much that I bought an extra in black since it's on clearance! Great in warm weather and great year round in Florida with a cardigan or duster or kimono! I'm a little older so I sized up for a more conservative fitted look. Buy it-especially on clearance-you won't be sorry!

Bought it as a basic staple, but I honestly love it so much more than I thought I would! Very easy to dress up into some sexy elegance. Or casual. I’ve barely taken it off since it got delivered, lol. Fits true to size, I’m a pear shaped 1/2. Went with the 2 and it’s great!
