Good dress: Odd fit
I do like this dress and plan to keep it, but it fits nothing like the picture. This is more of a babydoll dress than what appears in the picture (but I like it). The two things that are different than the picture on me are the neckline and overall length. The neckline is a really low v in front and back and must be worn with a cami. My bust would literally be exposed without one. But it does look really cute with the cami underneath. I am 5’ll”and used to dresses being short, but this one is quite short. Since it fits my body like a babydoll dress, I will wear it with leggings. The print is great and very flattering. I love the black and and white pattern with the red detail on the bottom of the skirt. It has a bohemian vibe. The fabric is quite thin though, so I do find it a little strange that it’s being released this late into fall. This review seems like there are lots of negatives, but I do love the dress and plan to keep it. It is just different than what I expected from the picture.

My high hopes are dashed
The teal dress is beautiful in person. It’s got great flow and it’s true to size. I really love it! I’m 5’ 3” and 221 pounds, size 2 or 3 tops, and the neckline sits really low exposing my bra : /. The length is good, it sits above my knee. With the initial gentle washing one of the covered buttons started coming apart. Then, when I wore it for the second time I noticed that the beautiful fabric pilled where my purse strap sat on it :-o! I’m so disappointed. Torrid quality is going downhill. Yet their prices are going up. Sell quality clothing and keep your customers, seems like a no-brainer. Don’t value profit over providing quality products, Torrid!

Extremely High Waisted
I love the fact that Torrid is finally selling clothing in fun prints such as the blue version of the Mini Challis Short Sleeved Tiered Skater Dress. However, though I knew from the picture that this dress would be a not high waisted, I was disappointed as someone with an hourglass frame to find out that the waist was more of a true babydoll/empire style.
Torrid, please come out with more clothing like this for different body types! If this dress was sewn so that it hit at at or around what would be considered a natural waistline, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Ridiculously huge
I just got this dress in both colors, and they are AT LEAST 3 sizes too big. It's absolutely ridiculous. I only read the first few reviews that said it was short (which I like) and had a low neckline (also like). The deep V on the front and back don't give the shoulders enough structure to stay in the right place and it falls down in front. I wish I could return these because they're sized WILDLY wrong. They should not be selling these dresses to people. It's basically a scam.

Bad sizing
Terrible sizing. It’s too big in the chest the shoulders fall off. The V in front and back are too low - I show cleavage but it goes to your midsection. The smaller size barely was above my girls. And the one was very short like a tunic. The pictures are deceptive. Plus the waist is huge with no elastic in it at all.
I would NOT recommend this dress and returned it.

This dress is way too large does not fit. Sizing is way off. Torrid should consider this defective and remove from market. Returning.

Way too big
I usually get a size 2 for dresses and this one was way too big. Unfortunately, I had already taken the tags off before wearing it. Would suggest to get at least a size smaller than what you wear to have a better fit

Sizing Is Off
I ordered my normal size as soon as I took it out of the bag I knew it was oversized. It looks like it was 2-3 sizes too big. Going back scared to even try to size down one size.
