I don't even mind the pockets and tie waist and I normally don't like either! I also really like the short style. It's a favorite for sure! Runs true to size! Im 5'8 220 wearing a 2 and 2 was perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Color! LOVE this color. This dress is very relaxed, you can dress it up or down, i am 5'10 and the dress falls above my knees. I think it runs a little small in the top, since i am normally a 2-3 and I ended up purchasing a 4 so that the top would fit me.

I look really good in this Electric Blue color and have a couple of other Torrid tops in it. Anyways the material of the dress is light weight which I am perfectly happy with given that I live in Arizona. I love the surplice style it’s so flattering. I did upsize on this dress because I am a long torso and have a larger bone structure than most women. Typically I am a torrid 2/3 depending on the cut. I ordered a 4 in this.
