This dress is perfect for any occasion. Dress it up or wear it casual. Love how it buttons and doesnt have elastic waist all around. Only recommendation is PLEASE HAVE SHORTER DRESSES for the shorter ladies. You guys really need a petite section. So many cute dresses but none of them fit how they’re supposed to. A mini dress only is mini if you’re 5ft 10 inches. Also short models is something many would benefit from seeing. PLEASE Torrid help the plus sized petite women out.

Fits me beautifully
I’m 5’4” and ordered 1X thinking it wouldn’t cover my ample hips and was going to use as an open overtop but to my surprise it was a great fit. Very much love it now!

I was so happy to get this when I did! It was perfect for an evening out in KCMO when it was way warmer than normal for April. Pairs super cute with gray booties. Sheer and flowy...I had no choice but to feel pretty!

I LOVE these Chiffon Shirt Dresses.
I've bought every pattern Torrid has brought out.
They are an excellent semi cover, warn with chiffon camis and leggings.
Unbutton the bottom half and the two chiffons tops present a flowing, light combination.
The V neckline of the shirt dress nicely displays the cami underneath.
First time I felt feminine in years.
This photo is the floral with grey chiffon cami and grey premium leggings.
I also have the black from this page (good with all colour combos of camis and leggings),
black with purple dragon flies (good with matching purple chiffon cami and black leggings,
black with white Minnie Mouses (good with white polkadot cami, white heart cami and black leggings),
and even a lovely red tartan plaid (pops out with a black cami and black leggings
but a red cami was great at Xmas).
All patterns are/were delicate and modestly/classically tasteful.
Please bring them back Torrid. :-)

So cute and versatile!
I love this dress! I am 5'11 and it goes right about to above my knees. I did take the white slip out from under it and just wear it with leggings and a cami. There is no stretch to it though so if you're in between sizes order up.

The feel and length are perfect! Not too tight, not too baggy. I'm a size 2 at Torrid and got that. The buttons actually unbutton which is nice because I'm currently breastfeeding. I like to get clothes I can wear when I'm not breastfeeding too so this is definitely a keeper!

Bonus dress!
I kind of don't love these types of dresses with the overlay and slip. The way they're sewn together always makes one piece slide opposite of the other... Maybe it's my body. So I cut it. Now I have a white slip dress to use any way I want and I wear the sheer leopard print part around the house on it's own and the bf loves that! The sleeves hit mid forearm and you can't really push them up, but that's OK. Got this super cheap. Since it was my bday & torrid cash time. Yeah!

I love the fit of this dress, but I haven't worn it yet. I wear 00/0 tops and dresses and I'm an 18 bottom. I got this dress in a 0. If you have a large chest, size up. My only concern is that the lining will not stay down when I walk because of my large butt.
