Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boots for Wide Calf I am so in love with these boots. It’s hard to find d good boots for plus sized women. My calf’s measure 23.5 inches, and these boots…. Hunny they fit like a dream. Yes a slight resistance when zipping up but the zipper does go up and it doesn’t feel super tight. Ladies if you have extra wide calf’s like me these are a definite buy! Also I wear an 8.5 in women’s and I could have gone down to an 8 because the boots are roomy where the toes are. I hope this helps my ladies looking for the perfect boot.

I was sooo nervous to buy these because of the bad reviews but the extra wide calf fits my 17.5" calves perfectly and I've had no issues with the zipper, fingers crossed! My only complaint is that Torrid boots tend to be too big, I'm a 10.5 in every shoe brand but a 9.5 in these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizing is odd Overall they are nice quality, but there were a multiple areas where there were random threads poking out. The sizing is also odd. I am between a 10-11 depending on the style. I played it safe and ordered a 10.5 extra wide calf, but they felt more like a size 12 with how big they were. The calf was even a little roomy, which NEVER happens! I would order a full size down, and know that they will fit the extra large calf girlies out there!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Way too wide Bought these, like many of my torrid boots, in a 6.5ww (I’m normally a 6, but I tend to go a bit bigger in boots for chunky socks). The fit is large all over, especially in the toes and the calf. I had to check that I hadn’t ordered an extended wide calf because the fit is so large. I do not have small calves at all but I could lose 2.5 inches in width and it would fit properly. The boots are lovely and I appreciate that they aren’t mostly elastic like so many of torrid’s offerings, but this fit just isn’t good for folks with slightly-larger-than-straight-size calves. For reference, I wear a size 12 to 16 in torrid pants.
