Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light & Cute Pin Up This dress is so cute, airy, and gives pin up girl vibes. I love it. It does run a bit bit though (for me) and I got the 00. I am normally a 00/0 in Torrid pending the fit. I’m still keeping it though. Very comfortable and the elastic waist is great. My Dad is a navy veteran and it’s a bit of a nod to his service as well. Overall I love it. Just wish it was a bit more fitted (for me). I am 230lbs, 36 C/D, and 5’4” and it hits me around the knees.

This has been a great event dress for me through late summer/early fall. Love the sturdy pockets so I can slip my phone in. Have gotten many compliments! That said, my one note is that because of the fabric I'm unsure how long this will last/it has had some wearability issues. It is a slick, almost starchy fabric, so the good news is it holds it shape, packs well, and doesn't really wrinkle. But it also attracts dust and hair like NOBODY'S business. I have to clean it constantly (usually with a wet washcloth as the lint roller doesn't do the job). I have cats, for one, but it attracts more than just cat hair--it attracts anything whirling in the air. I've worn it half a dozen times in two months and I'm not sure how long it will survive and still look cute. Haven't washed it yet but it seems like the kind of fabric that isn't going to perform well in the wash (and no way I'm putting it in the dryer). So this works as a limited novelty dress, but I'm not sure about it's long-term potential in my wardrobe. But still: SO CUTE.
