I didn't get one that had puff sleeves and I hated the puff sleeves on me. I looked ridiculous. So I gave it away to someone puff-sleeve worthy. Which I am not. Every time I come on Torrid I search for the smocked bodice dresses. If the sleeves are puffed her off the shoulders, I buy it. Love it. And then wear it any chance I get. Please get more and more smocked bodice dresses. For some reason they work for me.

The smocking also helps to define the upper body while the flowy skirt skims the lower body. This dress is gauze, very lightweight and it is not lined. Definitely a cool, summer dress. The pink paisley print is fun and girly without being too bubblegum pink. It runs a bit big, if you are between sizes I'd recommend sizing down.

And in the winter (this is SoCal to be clear) it works great with a jacket, tights, and boots. I’ll admit I’m not a huge fan of the paisley print, but I can get past that because I love the style/fabric/fit of this dress and the colors.

Material is not sheer but breathable for those hot days. Top part is fitted and flattering. The over all dress is very flattering from the color, cut and fun print.
