Love the pattern of this skirt and coordinating shirt. I find them to be try to size with a little bit of give - the skirt more that the shirt. I usually go between a 1 and 2 and ordered both in size 2. Fits perfect.

Cute but needed work
Slit wasn't as high as I liked but it seemed the manufacturer took this into consideration and you can easily take it up alittle with zero need for sewing. Other than that, love the pattern and fabric feel. Definitely happy with purchase.

So comfy!
The skirt is so comfy! I bought it for my My Chemical Romance and Evanescence concert in September and it is perfect! I'm 5'1 and it reached almost to the floor so it shows my feet. I love that the skirt has an underlayer piece of material for coverage. The velvet material is so soft and I love the two slits that it has. I would recommend it to anyone

For the Sultry Vamp
I was ambivalent about this skirt until I started thinking outside the box. It should be clear that this skirt is made with a taller person inside. I was able to wear it like a sheath dress, with the elastic over my twins, and it still had maxi length for me. I am five foot three, for reference. However, the pattern on the skirt is so, so elegant. I took a picture of it for this review, but that doesn't do it justice. It's a beautiful black with spiders and bats and other spooky motifs. I love it! I decided to wear it with a bustier to try it on. The slits don't go up as high as I would have liked, even when I pull it over the twins, but I can be OK with that, because it means I can wear it day to day and not just at the goth club. I frankly like the elastic waist because I tend to wear my skirts at my natural waist, so they are always covered by something. (I also love skirts with give...) I am giving this four stars because I wish shorter people were thought of, but it's definitely an elegant piece that I will use as a staple.

Not the best.
I really wanted to love this product! Unfortunately, the cut is unflattering and it runs very small. I think the pattern of the fabric is gorgeous, but it does feel cheap. It definitely feels more costume than daily wear.
