The pants are not completely see through lol The burnout pattern is see through but that’s what burnout means. The velvet isn’t and is light/ stretchy. I heat up easily so I was hoping it was not thick. I bought them knowing the print was going to be see through but could understand how people were misguided mainly by the pictures alone. They do not look this dark on… if anything the skin showing through the pattern makes it half skin tone/half black. I have an hour glass shape and I loooooved them. So much I bought a back up pair. I bought these specifically for ‘girls night’ when I want a sexy gothic look and I am not disappointed at all. Was spot on for what I was expecting.

Fantastic leggings
I love these. They're super comfy. The burnout parts are see-thru mesh, so black panties are preferred. The flare is delightfully retro, the are definitely the pants I wish I had in 1999 to go to Manray. They are thin like leggings though, do not expect substance from them.
I'm quite short (5'3) and they fit with heeled boots on. People with long legs might find them short.

A goth staple
These are so awesome! I love how they look, how they feel on my body, how comfortable they are. I just wore them with a bat tshirt and a fishnet shirt underneath and felt so great! You can dress them up or down. Definitely a goth staple! I went up a size because I have lipedema and lymphedema and wanted the extra room.

Just so you know, these are seethru. I didn't manage to realize that and uh, well, that was a huge surprise to get LOL! Also they are extremely long. Be aware if you are short-legged they're going to drag the ground unless you're wearing platforms.

Sheer Pattern
These are super cute and sexy. I just can't wear them as every day pants like I had expected. The pattern is sheer, and it's sheer over the entire pant, so your undies will definitely show through to some degree. I couldn't tell from the photos, so I thought it was important to note. I'll still keep them. I just will be careful about where I wear them.

When I bought these, I didn't realize they were SO see-through. I realize that they are "burnout" style but the dress in this same material had a lining so I assumed the pants did as well. WRONG! To my surprise you can see everything through them. I did, however, throw on some plain black leggings underneath and they were super cute. I hope they make more of these leggings in the future in different colors and with no "burnout". I'd buy them in every color and pattern if if they had more.
