I bought this dress because of the collar.. I'm an 80s baby my mother literally made these dresses/ jumpers for me in the '80s and '90s, with that being said the dress is beautiful the quality is awesome and the print is beautiful. Gothic nostalgia ✅
It's kind of irritating that I purchased a dress last week at full price and now it's $25 though.

I like the collar.
I get why people don’t. But this style of collar was my favorite way back when. I’m a 0/1 usually, got a 14, perfect fit. I am not busty and I don’t have much of a butt, so the collar is fine for me. I wish the sleeves didn’t have elastic, because I hate elastic sleeves, but they’re not tight, so I can live with it. I got the print. It does need pockets.
This fits a lot like the Retro Chic dress with the polka dots. I mostly wish this was in a less wrinkly fabric, because I don’t have the faintest clue where the iron is. I do have a steamer.
This is probably not for everyone, but if you like the style, go for it.

A New Favorite
I love the way this fits me! It's a unique dress with a vintage vibe. I appreciate the dramatic collar. I appreciate the elastic being comfortable on my arms. The seams in the rest of the dress don't have any give, so it's important to get your size correct. It seems to be true to size though. I wish the collar had a little more structure because it can get wrinkles, but steaming it should help. This would be cute with a petticoat underneath too. Overall, I really like this dress.

Exactly what I thought.
I bought this knowing I would cut off the collar. Collar is hideous. Rest of the dress is great. I like the pattern, cut and fabric. I don't know why people are complaining about the fabric. If u want a 'soft' feeling dress, this is definitely not that, but I knew that going into this purchase. Only complaint is the arm elastics. Waaaay too big. Will need to have those taken in for it to fit properly around the arms. Otherwise, happy with my purchase.

Cute pattern
Without the collar of love this, but I'm not a fan of the collar and it just doesn't look good on my body type.
My local store had one in stock so I was able to try it on. I tried an 18, and it was tight but shocked it fit. Usually wear a 3x (22-24). So it's got a lot ot stretch.
Even prettier in person, so if you can do the collar I highly recommend

So pretty!
I ordered this in a whim, assuming I would be returning it cause I didn't love the collar, but I loved the pattern. I will be keeping it. It's very light weight and it's even prettier in person. Still don't *love* the collar on it, but it's not as bad as I thought. My only gripe is the stitching seems weak. I'm worried about that. I heard a few threads pop while I was adjusting the dress.

My daughter is usually a size 2 or 3. I bought this for her in the size 22 and size 24 and they were basically the same exact thing. I was anticipating the 24 to be larger as usual with Torrid which is why I ordered both. The material is a bit “scratchy.” I am hoping once it’s washed it’s better but honestly doubt it and seems like the cheap feeling material will be ruined after one wash. For reference my daughter is 5’9 and it was a bit short on her but she had planned to wear with leggings anyway. She doesn’t have large breasts so the collar looks fine but I can see how if her breast were larger it would make the collar look odd. She was a bit upset about it not having pockets but overall she liked how it looks on her.

Im 5'2, D breasts and a size 2. This doesn't work on my body type at all and I feel like I look like a church lady! Lol
