Gorgeous Blouse but...
Absolutely beautiful piece. The moment I saw this I had to have the outfit. This is what has been missing from Torrids catalog for *years* Plus size women don't want cold shoulder tops and graphic tees littering our closets. We want romantic beautiful pieces that make us feel like a queen. I was I was expecting it to be much softer, but this is a very stiff and scratchy tule like fabric. If you have sensitive skin of sensory issues, this sadly might be a skip. Even after washing it and using a ton of fabric softener, it is still itchy.

Beautiful and Unique Top
I purchased the Nightfall top, and it is absolutely beautiful and unique. You definitely want to go up one size because it runs small. This top is so unique that it takes any outfit from plain to exciting and elegant. The material is a bit stiff. However, since it is sheer, you have the option to wear a sleeveless top under this shirt. I recommend that you hand wash the top with a mild detergent and use a fabric softener. Hang dry. Do not put this top in a dryer. Yes, this top requires special care but it is worth the extra effort. I rate it a 5 out of 5 for its beauty and uniqueness.

Sexy is as SEXY does…
This top is so freakin’ sexy. It is worth the comments about the fabric. It is a little stiff and structured and there is no stretch so if you have a tummy, you want to size up. The fabric is necessary for the blouse to floss the way that it does. This type of top is what Prince meant when he said “Game….Blouses”. It is perfectly paired with the Pinafore dress and some platform Chucks. Ohhh….my inner Wednesday/Morticia Addams is utterly and nonchalantly THRILLED. I almost want to have it dry cleaned so I don’t risk the quality changing.

So beautiful and unique!
I missed out on this the first time and was able to purchase it with the new Nightfall drop! It is really beautiful and unique in person. As others have mentioned, the fabric is a little stiff but it needs to be that way to hold its shape properly. I haven't washed it yet and maybe that would soften it a bit but it's not so stiff that you aren't going to want to wear it. The model shows it buttoned up but I actually plan to wear this open with a black tank underneath it and a pair of the bombshell flare jeans which are my absolute favorite jeans of all time. If you have not purchased a pair of the darker wash ones for yourself go and do it now. They changed my whole style and got me out of a rut with skinny jeans! Trust me!
For this top, I am between a 1 and a 2 so I went with the one and it will fit buttoned up just fine if I ever decide to wear it that way. I have a large chest to accommodate so I do think this runs a bit on the larger side. No need to size up. If anything size down one size so it doesn't add to much bulk of the fabric.

Beautiful material
Ok yes, material is strange against skin be it scratchy, itchy , but the beautiful detail of the same material ! I wanted this shirt first time around, it should out. This will be worn over a black tank top with the Nightfall skirt from the first round of sales ! Also as a layer piece over a turtle neck come NYS winters there is NO stretch. Order accordingly. My chest is full 48dd so made sure I ordered a 6 glad I did!!

I am in love with this top, now ths material to some may not be tolerable however it does not bother me at all. I am not really sensitive to the fabric. I admit it's a little rough with no give but I absolutely can deal with it and will keep it , love it ❤️

Romantic Gothic
I'm so happy they brought this top back. I loved it from the moment I saw it and was thrilled I was able to get it with my Torrid cash. I'm like 5ft. nothing and depending on the style, cut and fabric I usually wear between a size 1 or 2. After reading the reviews and seeing it on the model I decided to go with a size 1 and I'm glad I did. Overall the top fist well, there is no pulling or tugging anywhere and I can sit comfortably while wearing it. If I had gotten the size 2 the arms would've been way too loose and I would've been swimming in the top, since I have such a short torso. I love the pattern with the flowers and Ibis, very unique nod to the 1920s art deco age. Brings a lovely sophisticated romantic gothic vibe. My one tiny issue that was also mentioned in other reviews are that it is slightly itchy in spots and I do believe after washing and line drying it should soften up. I honestly can't wait to wear this. It makes my little black heart skip a beat.
