It's thick and a bit heavy, of course it's velvet, so I'll have to wait for the colder weather again to wear it, probably not best suited for Texas spring and summer, or fall for that matter, lol. I'm usually a 1 in Torrid sizes but read the reviews and got a 0. It was perfect. I'm 5'8" and the length was perfect. It is a bit costumey but I don't care. I really cannot wait to wear this dress. A classic staple for the closet.

The hook & eye details give it such a romantic, gothic vibe. It hugs in all the right places while still being comfortable and flattering. The high slit adds a sexy touch without being too much. True to size and the quality is AMAZING for the price.(clearance deal)This is definitely my new favorite maxi dress. Highly recommend 1000/10! ✨ Get one quick before they sell out! looks like they're putting this on clearance.

I went a size up because I wasn't sure of the fit thanks to being top heavy and apple shaped. The fit is great and it's very comfortable. The slit is modest which I like. I'm glad I took a chance on it.

I usually have to order one to 2 sizes larger.....but the only one available, was in my normal size. When I got it, it fit like a dream. Didn't give me that barrel waist, that dresses that are fitted at the waist, do. It fit snug, but not overly snug. I loved it so much, I came back to buy the other color. It's really lovely on. Far better than in the pictures.

This is very flattering on my body type. The material is nice and heavier so it drapes beautifully. I love this dress! I believe anyone would feel beautiful in this!
