This dress is everything. Im 5'11 and im between a 16/18. I got a size 1 and it fits perfectly. Slit isn't too high. Its a bit low cut. Can style it different ways

Summer Goth Vibes
I just want to say, this dress is amazing and will be my summer dress. The material is breathable but not concerningly thin, and the pattern gives it that summer/spring feel, while keeping the darker edge, which is much appreciated. I am not a beach person, but would totally walk around like the dark goddess I am in this dress, which is much airier than my usual goth velvets and black fabrics. What surprised me was that the dress did not do what these types of clinging dresses tend to do: emphasize the muffin top. It's form fitting but flattering, hugging the curves and getting lots of compliments. I threw an older Torrid lace kimono over it and immediately got complimented. I was honestly thrilled at how amazing it looked on me, and the slits are great with mock garter fishnets. Great job, Torrid!

Wow, just wow.
I bought this dress and wasnt sure where I would wear it but I have already found several occasions to use it. All I can say is WOW. I feel so special when I wear it! It's beautiful and fits perfectly. Im currently a 2X but I got it in a 1x and it was amazing. I wear sheer sleeves unerneath. and WOW.

I was a little worried about ordering this dress due to previous reviews about sizing, but I decided to go for it. I'm typically a 3 on top and 5 on bottom, so buying dresses can be difficult. I ordered this in a 4 in hopes that I could get away with it. The top fits very well without being too tight or loose. I was more worried about the bottom, but it
The dress has just enough stretch to fit perfectly on my pear shaped apron belly! The deep maroon is also a gorgeous color. It is difficult to see in the photos, but it does have spiderwebs and spiders on it, which I didn't notice until I got the dress, but I got it for a wedding in October so it's totally fitting! But just a heads up in case you're not a fan of spiders.

Torrid's 42B bras are the best I've ever worn, holding the girls solidly in place providing great curves and a feminine outline.

I LOVE this dress! It is just the right amount of clingy and flowy that it hugs me and still blurs areas of my body I do not want to be so on display. That was a vague way to say I'm a large belly gal who doesn't always want clothing to hug that part of me.
The material and construction are good quality and comfortable. The straps are adjustable, which is nice. I also LOVE the double slits. It is definitely one of the better purchases I've made from Torrid recently.

This is my favorite thing I have ever purchasing from Torrid! I recently wore it to a musical with my husband, and I got so many compliments. Even a random person on the street stopped me to tell me they loved my dress. I've been trying to shake up my look to be more fairy whimsical and this was the perfect item to dress up or down. I'm currently a size zero and that's the size I got. I fits like a glove and I looooove the double split bottom. So glad I was able to snag it before it went out of stock again.
