Definitely Worth It
I love this skirt. I usually don't go for pencil skirts, but I feel in love with this one at first sight! Dark and classy; just the combination I love to see when I look for goth inspired clothes. Can't wait to see more from this collection!

Awesome!
This skirt is awesome! I’m 5’2 so it was a little long on me. Also, I’m usually a 1 in leggings, I would’ve sized down to a 0 on this one. Good stretch and have had many compliments on it already. I may get it altered to be a bit smaller though.

Great idea, bad execution
This material does not go with this type of skirt. It's a great idea and the cut is promising in the photo but to have such spandex-y material with the lace up area makes it look really cheap. It feels like it's going to fall apart after a few washes.

It is okay.
I am not as super excited about this skirt as I thought I would be. I would have liked it better if I could have adjusted the laces. I am thinking I may cut and add my own lacing.

Cheap quality
Cute, wanted to love it. Wore it out once out to a concert and put it on gentle wash, laces got completely destroyed. pretty awful, will have to relace it, whenever i can figure out the time. super poor quality.

seems to run quite large, also felt cheap and as other reviews have stated, the laces arent adjustable so if it is even a bit too big it looks weird

laces are NOT adjustable
I thought i was going to love this skirt but it just wasn't for me. It's a regular pencil skirt with some laces that you can't even adjust. I just know the laces would get all twister after a single wash. I had to return it.

The audacity... Awful
Torrid really had the audacity to call this a capsule piece and charge seventy bucks for a cheap piece of fabric that feels like a tee shirt with a waistband? I don't care about the laces ... I genuinely thought this would be like the typical ponte skirts they usually put out and I was okay with that but no... It's not even thick enough to do any sort of shaping or smoothing. And even those they never charged this much or excluded from promo. Torrid, this entire Nightfall collection has been a complete disappointment on every level mostly due to the blatant CHEAP fabrics and cuts while you charge a premium price. Truly pathetic. Don't waste your money. And by the way it's easily see through if it stretches even the slightest bit over your rear.

If i could give this zero stars i would. It feels (and looks) like they took a t-shirt, cut the top off, slapped a waistband on it and sent it out. It is a square of fabric and is incredibly unflattering no matter how you try to style it. The product photo is SO incredibly misleading.
