Love it!
I know this belt got a ton of bad reviews, but I love it. I looped the ribbon through the metal ring and it shortened the ribbon enough to not have an overly huge bow. You could probably do it a few times if you wanted it even shorter

Wear it like the model
I just received this item, and it was better than expected. I purchased my usual size, but like the reviews said the ribbon is no long enough to completely wrap around the torso. However if you thread it through the side loops and and double the ribbon in front the ribbon size works great. It's definitely better worn as shown on the model then the product image alone. Packaging is very tedious to remove however so if you are too aggressive with it then the harness can be damaged. I would recommend but would wish Torrid would correct it's product image to better reflect the harnesses

Festival ready!
I am not going to lie I was NERVOUS after reading the reviews AFTER purchasing this BUT I am going to be the odd ball.... I love it. The ribbon is cheap so I am going to add new ribbon with my own flair before my festival! But I love how this harness sits on my chest and not down the middle of the ladies!
I would give it a 5 if the leather didn't feel a bit cheap but I think it will age wlell... and that the ribbon will have to be altered ro make me feel confident in it.

Much Better Than Expected
I was not expecting much due to the other reviews. However, i was pleasantly suprised. only had an issue in one spot with zip ties deforming the pleather. However, it was easily fixed by methods that were found with a quick search. Would recommend that there is a different restraint method to the cardboard. The ribbon was actually really nice to work with. While others complained that it was stiff, I found it to be just right for keeping it tied firm and tight. I was not really interested in whether it wrapped twice or not, so it isn't a downside to me. The extra length of the ribbon was easily remedied by using FrayChek on the ends of the ribbon. I also tried other methods, but the provided ribbon was the sturdiest hold. Softer and prettier ribbons would break so quick. Everything was easily adjustable to get the perfect fit. Sure, it's not perfect, but I never expect anything on me to look like it does in a picture without the image of the model included. I also know it won't fit my shape the same as others. Overall, I am actually in love with this cute belt.

Rusty ring
I ordered mine online and when I received it, I was so excited to try it on. I took it out of the package and bam Rust on the top ring. Sadness!!!
Its a beautiful product otherwise.

So very disappointing :(
I was really looking forward to getting this, as it looks so cute in the pictures and on the model, but unfortunately the harness is just not made well at all, and the quality control is seriously lacking on this item.
Mine arrived with minor damage to the leather from the too-tight zip ties attaching it to the cardboard backing, like many other reviews also complained about. The o-ring on the back was very rusty, and even the silver buckles on the front straps were rough and lightly rusted. The leather-like material the harness is made of is also very thin and the front straps are bent very oddly in how they're zip tied to the cardboard backing, which left deep creases and lines in the material. Also, like another reviewer mentioned, the leather material had some kind of an oily or greasy residue that would rub off onto your fingers, and I imagine probably any shirt or dress you'd wear underneath it.
I'm honestly really disappointed, I really wanted to love this!! If the harness had been executed properly, it could have been a gorgeous addition to my wardrobe. Instead, I ended up returning it the same day it arrived. Even the cashier said with all the rust it looked strangely old. :( Here's hoping Torrid will redo this item at a later date in the future, and use better materials and packing styles next time. I'd give it another shot if they do, but as it is now, I just can't recommend it to anyone else.

Cute but not great
Product was damaged even before unpacking. The ribbon was way to short to wrap around like said photo, and way to long to not try and double wrap

Cute but ridiculously
Packaging pretty much destroyed the leather. Why yall put the zip ties on there like that? There was no need because its stiff fake leather you could have just bagged it. Furthermore, the ribbon does it tie completely around the waist (my waist is a 28 bought a 0/12). This is overly priced for the material.

I was so looking forward to this. The ribbon is such an odd length though. It's shown to wrap around twice and that's just not accurate. I'm going to keep it and see about replacing the ribbon with a better quality/longer length. The ribbon included on it is also not great quality. It's super stiff and just feels cheap.

Weird Length of Ribbons
I LOVE the premise of this harness but I'm confused by the fit. I'm generally a size 1 or 2 in tops (depending on the fit) at torrid. I went ahead with a size 2 for this. In the pictures it looks like it should wrap twice and still have more than enough to tie. It wasn't even remotely close to wrapping twice, much less tying. I probably would have had to buy a 4 or 5 to have it look like the picture. Instead, it wrapped once and the excess ribbon was down past my knees (I'm 5'9" for reference, so they are LONG) I'm probably going to keep it in this size regardless because I don't want the straps to potentially be any bigger in a larger size. I'll probably just cut the ribbon to a better length and pray it doesn't fray. Also, the packaging is HORRIBLE for this. It had about 4 hard plastic ties that dug into, and left grooves and discoloration, in the edges of the "leather" or whatever it is. If you want it in perfect condition, this isn't for you.
