I bought the size I usually get but it turns out they run big. I kept it and just reordered a new one since they're decently priced and then the new one kind of feels big so if you're getting one please order two sizes down no joke.

I think a criss cross in the back will make this harness work. I put it on and then unbuckled each side. Then crossed them and buckled again. It seems to work better. It runs big- had to size down due to the back. Also the ribbon is very long and can wrap two or three times around the waist.

Cute but....
Super cute harness but the straps are way to wide. We had to cross them and add holes. Made larger than sizing. We ordered 2 sizes smaller & still had the issue with the straps.

Oddly sized.
Cute but it runs big. I crossed the steps to adjust fit. Otherwise it falls right off. It still kind of gaps in the back.

Order down 1-2 sizes!
Nice quality and idea, but the sizing is way off. There was more than 5 inches of extra material going across the back. I’m going to try ordering the next size 2 sizes down to see what works.
The extra space in the back means the shoulder straps slide down the moment you move.
If you have a small bust and a very broad back with good posture, this may work perfectly once you get the shoulder straps adjusted correctly.

I LOVE THIS, However, there are so many issues, I will have to return it.
Item is not as described. The back is not elastic, it is solid and stiff. When it arrived it was folded onto the packaging and the creasing is so deep I cannot get it to smooth out.
The straps do not stay up, which would probably be fixed if that back elastic would hold them a little bit tighter. I liked it so much I planned to exchange for a smaller size but they are now sold out so I will have to shop elsewhere.
It literally will not stay up on my shoulders no matter what setting
It would’ve been an awesome price for a very beautiful belt if it was true to the picture.

Needs Work
Like other reviews, I was really interested in this piece. While it's generally serviceable, there are some issues with this garment, notably the sizing and the fact that it does not come as pictured.
If you do buy this garment, I would suggest sizing down at least two sizes. I probably could have gotten away with a size 1, so that the belt area fit more snuggly to my body. I plan to do alterations but if you're not skilled at doing that, this might not be the piece to gamble on.
The second point is that this harness did not come with an elastic back piece. The whole back panel is just another length of the leather material, which contributes to an awkward fit. Had the panel been elastic as shown, I don't think the fit issues would be as prominent.

Not as pictured. No elastic at all.
It was waaaay too big, but this might be my mistake as my normal size would have been a 3. I only ordered a 5 because at other harness/corset/belt offered by Torrid earlier this year was said to be much smaller than usual.
But even so, I'm not sure I will even try to order my proper size as I can't figure how this could fit correctly without a little bit of stretch somewhere.

Dear me, if I good give 0 stars I would.
The actual corset compared to the advertisement online are nothing alike. The straps are ridiculously long and hang in the armpit, the back doesn't look the same either. It's really disappointing.

The shoulders are insanely wide-set and don't work. The back lifts up and is an awful fit. This is hands down the worst thing I've purchased from torrid.
