Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice jacket & pretty I ordered this copper jacket and it’s very cool looking in person. The sleeves are a bit long on me. For reference I’m 5’3” waist same size as hips but losing weight 220 lbs size 2 or 3. The jacket gives me a nice shape, it’s long enough to make my waist look longer and cover my bum when standing. The hood is a good size, I do have a smaller head than average, though. If you carry your weight in your belly you may want to size up if you want to layer. I’m a size 2/3 and the 3 fits well up top, but it’s tighter in the waist/hips on me. The fabric does feel a bit fragile, so I won’t go busting brush in it, but it’s perfect for dry, cool weather. I live in Central Western Oregon in a rain forest, so it won’t stand up to our rain! I like this jacket, I was holding out to see if they’d get the puffer jacket in the skull print back in, but I think I’ll keep this jacket. Torrid, if you get in skull print I’d totally buy it in my new, smaller size :-)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs small! I bought the packable puffer coat in my usual size 2 and it fit beautifully. I figured this would fit exactly the same, but it does not! It is several inches away from being able to zip up around my hips, and it is extremely unflattering if it’s not zipped up. It just makes me look like a puffy apple, and I am definitely a pear. 3 stars because the color is beautiful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cut Small I love this jacket. I have it in two other colors and I was soooo looking forward to adding this one to my collection, but it is cut small. I definitely recommend ordering a size up with this one. My next size up appears to be sold out online. I’m hoping I’ll be able to find one in store because I am in love with this color.

The jacket arrived & the color was spectacular but the fit was not. I did my true size in Torrid with anticipation of the jacket being a perfect. I will be sending this jacket back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great other than fit Puffer jackets are tricky for us pear shaped ladies. I was hopeful for this particular jacket because when viewing the photos of the back, it appeared to have a little curve for the bottom half. That is not the case. It fits as sized waist up, but waist down, it's too snug for folks like me with hips and thighs. I LOVE the color and it is SO soft. Bummed it did not work for my body shape. (Dang badunkadunk. Sizing up would result in far too much bulk at the top.) I hope to see this material and color in other styles!
